OK so this is my first attempt at vitamin c. I put a small amount on the side of my face just to test if i have an allergic reaction. Wil start using from tommorow. My question is how do i go about applying it. After cleansing I put this on my face, then moisturiser then sunblock?
Also, can i put it under my eyes as well and if yes then whats the benefit of doing this?
Thank you |

Yes, you put it on after cleansing and then moisturize as usual. I always give mine a few minutes to soak in before I apply my next product. I put my C serum under my eyes, although I am not sure if it is recommended. Many companies make a lower %, specifically for that area. The benefit is increased collagen production. |

I apply mine round the eye area and don't have any problems, depending how I feel and how my skin is I apply the ADCE or sunscreen over the top in the day. If I apply at night, again I may apply my alphaderma, some hylauronic gel (sp?) or something richer over the top. |

oh and if a person is allergic to vitamin c.. hows their skin reaction?
If i cleanse my face tonight... then wont the vitamin c rub off? so then it wouldn't have the nighttime effects of vit c... |

Are you applying in the AM or PM? Once the Vit C is absorbed in your skin you can't wash it off. There are many other actives in the C&C, so they might rub off while you are sleeping, but I think you will be okay. If you apply in the AM, washing at night will have no effect on the Vit C.
If a person is allergic, I am assuming they could develop a rash or bumps on their skin...Really not sure, as I am not allergic to it. If you experience discomfort from this, I would discontinue use. |

Yes, I am sure this will not make you tanned. Tingling is normal, but this will stop as your skin gets used to it. Results?? maybe a month. |

I still have not gotten my "free" c serum from Janson Beckett and I was one of the first 30 to respond to the offer. Been in contact with Lou and he's told me it's been mailed out but I've been waiting 10 days and still NOTHING. Totally bummed reading about everyone's GREAT results and wishing I would have gotten mine like everyone else did weeks ago.

I just got this in the mail yesterday (thank you Ian!) so I only used it once so far (this morning). I must say that it does have a lovely texture - dare I say even better than my Vivier serum. I'll have to use it for a couple of weeks to see how effective it is. |

I would say that it is probably the formulation they use that makes it this colour. If you are really worried email them and ask. In my experience JB products are good quality products. |

Karina,
Thanks you....I had an AWESOME cruise to Bermuda. I am not certain of the shelf life of the C&C but will get back to you as soon as I talk to the office the beginning of the week. For sure it will be good for some time as the C is stabilized. Just keep it out of direct sunlight and bottle cap nice and tight. Will get the details shortly. |

The shelf life of C&C is two years It must be stored in normal conditions and not in direct light. Keep cap closed tight. When using dropper don't touch with fingers...by not touching the dropper you keep your C&C contaminant free.
I have to stress keeping all your bottle caps tight. When I was away on vacation I spilled my whole bottle of C&C. Vit. C serums seem to get spilled easily. This is the third time for me. |

i've been using it for almost two weeks, its a great cerum... vitamin c really does even out your skin tone, it hasn't done much tho for old acne marks.. but it does give you a nice skin tone.. |
