After reading through all the stuff on bio oils, and avodado oil, I remembered something I used to do when I was a kid.
I'd eat an avocado and then rub the inside of the skin over my face. I figured that the exfoliation due to the texture was good for me and I also found that my dry skin was much softer. I never told anyone what I did for fear of sounding like a fruitcake, but it seems I was onto something
I'm going to try it again this weekend. I'll let you know if it works 25 years on |

I have heard that avocado is good for the hair too, like it gives volume and moisturize. I am gonna try this if I have bought one. |

That sounds like something I'd do. About 7 years ago when I first moved to Cozumel I was prepping a ton of fresh veggies for a trip. After peeling and cutting a bunch of carrots and chayote I took a break. As my hands dried they curled into fists. It was extra bizarre because the carrots had turned them orange and the acids under the skin of the chayote had pretty much burned off the top layer of the palms of my hands. Over then next few hours my hands peeled off. Of course once I got over the shock I got some more chayote and put fresh peels into a little food processor, whirred it up and packed it onto my face. I was so convinced I had discovered the world's best natural acid peel. For some reason it didn't work. Perhaps the acid was too diluted when I whirred it up into pulp. I probably should have just rubbed the peels on my face like Guapa did with her avocado peels.
