Calm down, calm down!
OK, first off, do you (or can you) exfoliate? I think that if you have a lot of dead skin on the surface (like it would be below the surface durrrr!), then you need to get that sorted first of all. even using a flannel helps with exfoliation if you are sensitive to fruit acids etc (though enzyme peels may work for you).
Next, you want to look at your moisture levels. If your skin is exfoliated, the moisturisers can sink in better. Emu oil is good, but I find it really has to be massaged in and I don't like it under make up (I use BE as well!). I find that jojoba oil is better. I massage it into my face and leave for a few mins, then apply my BE. After I have worked it into my face, I let it sit for a minute or two and then spritz with molecular mist. I spritz about 2 - 3 times a day and my make up looks pretty flawless.
Try it for a week and see what happens. You may need to boost your fluid intake as well. I also found that evening primrose oil caps are good for the skin!

lassie, if your skin continues to dry out and you have to stop using the BE then try Make-up alley for swapping. BE is always really popular and heavily saught after. |

If you've been using renova, take it very gently with the exfoliation! You don't want to damage your skin if it's still healing |

I was feeling a bit dry and cakey when I first started out using the BE mineral make-up...I think that less is more with these powders...when I first started with them I tended to think that because it was a powder it wouldn't have superior covering power (was I wrong!)so I think I over-applied...once I eased up on the application and took better care to apply less liberally, the dry/cakiness eased up..

i do believe i am using way to much.. i dont care what i do ... i cant get all the redenss out. now im using my concelure brush and going in cirlces. my arm hurts already from swirling since i got rid of alot of dead skin it seems to be going on better.. i just have a heavy hand.. and the flawless brush even makes my skin redder !! it feels like little pins poking me. and i had a wittness to it. another thing, the flawless brush from qvc is harsher than the one i bought from the BE website. think im nuts and some do but you gals with sensitive skin will feel it. . well im playin now in applying it differently so ill see if anything different will happen. thanks lassie 1234 |
