| MSM is all the same. There are none that are better than any other. I get mine at GNC, but I've used other brands and always had consistant results. 1500-2000mg/day is what is recommended, even though the directions may suggest less. |

I just started back on this! for skin/hair/nails this time, years ago it was for a broken toe that ached and it helped!  |

| I just bought astore brand msm at a local health food store and they use the optMSM in it. I am hoping to get good results for my hair and skin........it says a 1000mg on the bottle so do you think it means each capsule has 1000mg or the whole bottle? It says take 1 capsule 3 times a day. |

| A readily available high quality one I've found works great for me is Jarrow Formulas brand...they have it at whole foods...and other health food stores..you just need to remember it takes a couple of weeks of DAILY use to see results. |

| If you are interested in trying MSM, purchase a product from a reputable manufacturer like GNC or Natrol. However, I have seen MSM at the grocery store and Wal-mart. So depending on your budget. |
