Help I think my pores are getting bigger everday... went to a dermalogist before and she mentioned it could be not from oily skin but actually from dry skin.. Unfortunately i don't go to that dermalogist anymore.. so how do i get it smaller? any products that anyone used and recommend? |

I recommend Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream. It has been great in minimizing my pores. I use it twice daily.

I am currently using IS Clinical Active Serum. I am amazed how quickly the pores in my T Zone are nearly invisable. You can read more about it in product review section. Must warn you it is costly.

You can also read about Apple Cider Vinegar Toner. Many of our forum members are making their own ACV Toner and having great results. My daughter is using this with the homemade Aspirin Mask and is very happy with the results.
Both these homemade receipts can be found:

Another good pore reducer from the Hauschka line is their cleansing clay mask. I steam my face first and then put it on and keep it wet. It works great! |

I second the aspirin mask!! You will notice a difference in your pores from just one use. I leave mine on for quite a while now, and it totally clears the pores on my nose and minimizes them. ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

I have really large pores too and I find that cleansing and exfoliating regulary makes them much less noticable than they can sometimes appear to be. I also used Mario Badescu Silver Powder every week, and I think it helps a bit.
I also recently purchased Pure Lux Eraser which does appear to mask the problem quite well too. |

I find masking with either lactic acid or salicylic acid product twice each week keeps my pores looking as small as they can look. I bought both at thepersonalformulator.com and mix with either glycerin or their oil-free cream base. They have very helpful directions on their site about how to mix.
I also use the Age Limit (lactic/glycolic) serum from cellularskinrx but I think it is better for brightening and smoothing than actual pore reduction. It's a 10% mix and mild enough to use every night and on sensitive skin. |

I ordered the Mario Badescu Silver Powder, alas the Dr. H's CC did not do the trick for me. I'll let you know! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

HI
clean your skin well, use steam, or if at home hot water and a face cloth, allow the steam to evaporate on the face..... this opens the pores....... apply a toner to restore the PH blanace of the skin and to remove any traces of the cleanser. Be sure to sue a clean face cloth daily...as bacteria loves moisture! After the asringent/toner, I splash cold water on my face, this also help, along with the toner to cllost the pores.
You really should be using a camphor mask weekly this will dray up any oil from the sebacous glands..remember there are loads of things that can cause the oil glands to over produce. If you pores are large yet you skin seems dry...drink plenty of water....... you WILL notice the difference!!! |

If you don't like that Dr H, (which I don't, didn't seem to work for me and it smells too much like stale beer), then Jurlique do Face Cream Wash which is a similar concept and seems to have worked for me. |

Have been using Henry Tianus products for oily skin for more than 2 months and found my skin is less oily and the pore seems slightly tighten.
Cleanser: Bilberry Cleansing Gel (Rate: 7.5/10). Very nice oil free cleansing gel but don't think strong enough to remove heavy make up.
Toner: Hazel Mint Toner (Rate: 9/10). Very good to tigthen the pores and make my skin less oily after that. Smells like fresh grass which a bit weird at the first time.
Cream: Antioxidant Purifying Cream (Rate: 10/10). Matifying and smells fresh.
Eye cream: Eye, Lip and Neck Serum (Rate: 10/10). Works wonderfully on lines and dark circles. My sun spots gone just after few weeks using this serum.
Vitamin C Serum: Antioxidant Youthful Essence (Rate: 9/10). Excellent product to firm and give a natural healthy glow. Immediately, my skin is firmer and after a week, my face glows naturally. Can be sticky if you use it too much, so follow the recommended dosage which is 1 or 2 sprays for the whole face. |

For Henry Tianus products ingredients, check their websitewww.henrytianus.com
I mix and match them with dermalogica solar defense booster in the morning, daniele de winter (exfoliator, 2-3 times a week) and caudalie (mask, 2-3 times a week) and my skin is best ever since. |
