I bought this for use on my freckles. At first usage, I was put off by the weird and strong thyme-like smell, but after a while, I actually started to like it.
The green colour is very dark, and I cannot tell from the ingredient list if this was from artificial colouring or from the botanical extracts. I am very fair, and I can sometimes detect a subtle green cast to my face from the product.
Performance wise, it is still too early to tell if it is fading my freckles (I've used it for a month). However, it is extraordinary when it comes to calming erythema and stinging from Retinol or AHA products. I recently overdid a retinol/AHA combination and my skin was very red, peeling like crazy and stinging from anything I put on. I used this and overnight my skin was a lot better. It also has a slight moisturising effect and the gel-liquid texture is nice. |

I really like this product, I tested it on a dark spot & I could definitely see it lightening. They also make a product that is called Phyto Corrective Gel that has all of the benefits of the Phyto + but without the Kojic Acid. Its considered a "complexion calming gel" |

I have been using it for about 2 weeks now 2x daily and can see a difference on sun damage-I use it before the B5 gel and it smells funny but works-I understand that they are comming out with a new product similar to this but its over $100 USD |

I'm currently on my third week of using the Phyto+ and I see some noticeable change. Although, guiltily, I have to admit that I don't know if it's been doing that so much on its own accord, or by the combination of stuff I'm using. I had been using just a 10% C serum (the Obagi one) and a cream called Nicomide for fading acne and pigmentation blemishes. That seemed to work a little, but it took 4 months just to see very very gradual fading. Using the Phyto+ in the AM and Nicomide in the PM has sped things up a great deal! Again, in just a few weeks I'm seeing changes already.
I didn't mind the smell of it so much, and I was at first worried about the description of the texture. It really isn't too oily or anything because it does absorb in really quickly, and the green color is nothing to be concerned about. |

What is nicomide? I used the phyto+ for about 6 months but only once a day and didn't notice anything so I stopped. Thanks. |

Nicomide-T is a 4% nicotinomide cream (or gel, which I haven't tried) that my doctor told me to get for a sunspot on my cheek (Costa Rica and spf 15 don't mix!). The tube says it's for healing redness and discoloration from acne blemishes. But after limited searching, according to web info, Nicomide-T is supposed to calm and heal inflamed acneic skin that has been stressed from retinoids, benzoyl peroxides, and other chemical treatments, but I don't fall into that category. You can get it from the pharmacy without a prescription, but you have to ask for it back there (the pills you have to have a prescription for.) My doc highly recommended it for fading the spot over a hydroquinone product (at least for my face) so I decided to do the good patient thing and stick with it.
It's a very very thick cream that I just put on my sun damage. I'm sure, given many many months, it would probably work on it's own, but I was getting frustrated after three or so and decided to altnerate that and the Phyto+ in the AM and PM. I've seen great results so far, but I'm hoping they continue and don't plateau off on me (I've read all those posts about people who used Phyto+ for a year and barely saw any improvement!) |

I'm really glad it's working for you Rusalka! It may be a combination of all of those products but it sounds like you have found a regime that works well for you |

Some Dermotologists don't suggest it! Some do. It's weird how they base their decisions. |
