I just found this review (sorry if it was previously posted) and I was glad to see my regime is in the top two!

Very interesting and good on Rejuvinol and AlphadermaCE for being the top two! I would really like to know more about how they actually ranked these products though. This is not to say that I don't think that Rejuvinol and AlphadermaCE work (at least I know that ADCE works very well having seen it work on my mum - have not tried the Rejuvinol so can't comment there) but I think when they say things like that they tested for "long term effectiveness for wrinkle reduction" they should also explain how and on whom these were tested. I think it would give the test more credibility if they offered such info.

I agree, I would like to know but I must say I am using Alphaderm Ce for just a short time and I am impressed with the results. As you can tell from my handle I am not a young one..lol and I really don't expect a miracle in a bottle but I am quite amazed at the improvement in just a short time. I spoke with my dermatologist yesterday and asked about the product - she took the 5th on Alphaderm and all products I mentioned but she did say "it seems to be working for you and I would continue on it" which was quite encouraging.
To the young ones: Start early!!! Here I am at 57 and just starting on a regime. I was one who had "gorgeous" skin and failed to maintain it because I thought it would be gorgeous forever. Well, one day you wake up and it's gone - it literally felt that way.
Sorry to go on and on but I just found this group and I think it is fantastic that so many young ladies are aware taking care of themselves now.
One oldlady who will look younger soon:)

Oh my gosh - 57 isn't old! My aunt just turned 75 and she is one of the grooviest of all the women I know (hardcore Gatineau fan).....and it is great having such a diverse cross-section of members across this Board - it allows us to learn how different products respond to different skin types/ages....I think we are all just fabulous - from 22 to 102!!!

oldlady57,
Hi and welcome. I know what you are saying, I had beautiful skin until my mid 30's then suddenly when I hit about 38 I noticed that everything had changed and thats when I set out on my quest for miracle products. It was only last year when I found EDS by accident that things are starting to perk up. I was always a wash & go girl before that. I think the young'uns are now more aware of the need to start taking care of their skin. I just hope I can eventually undo some of the damage I caused by sheer neglect. Sad

I am older then you Laughing Laughing Glad you are liking ADCE. Affeer using it for over a year it certainly has had a major impact on my complexion: Nice and FIRM. Very Happy Are you using the Mineral Prep under the ADCE? In my case, the Mineral Prep enhanced the ADCE. EMO mature skin shows more dramatic results from ADCE and Prep.

As far as reviews, I go more from what EDS members have to say then what I read on a web poll.

Welcome
Winnie

Thanks for the welcome - yes - I am using the skin prep - the only thing I am not sure of is the vitamin c - it seems to make my face red. Not sure if that is just a "healthy glow" that I should be trying to achieve or if it just doesn't agree with me. My skin is not normally sensitive.

Are you using C&C? It is known to be very gentle on the skin. hmm

Yes, the C&C serum from Janson Beckett. I wrote them an email but have not received a reply.
