Hi
I use Skinceuticals Factor 30 every day. Yesterday I put in on twice as was only pottering in the garden for a while but feel I have caught the sun a bit as it was very very hot in London yesterday.
Ideally I'd like to get a very high SPF or Total Sunblock that I can put on once a day and not worry.
Also, I'm off on holiday in August and was wondering if anyone could recommend any waterproof creams. I don't sunbathe but like to swim....

| A favourite on this site is La Roche Posay Fluide Extreme. It is SPF 60 and PPD 28 (I think). This is one of the the most "total block" products available. |

| Avene SPF60 Lait/Lotion is heavy duty (in the 100ml tube used for body and face). Marine-grade stuff. |

| Vichy has a sunblock with SPF 60 in form of a milk. Felt very good when I tested it on my skin. |

| I've been using the Avene Spf50, 100mls in the spray bottle, my face has not been burnt once yet and I find that I don't even need to reapply for the rest of the day. |

| I have used all the above mentioned sunblocks and lot of others to and my absolute favourite is photoderm max fluide spf100. |

| I second the La Roche recommendation, I use the SPF 60 Fluide Extreme and don't worry about sunblock for the rest of the day. Plus, my sensitive skin does not react at all to it and goes on well. |

| The only problem with FE 60 is that it is not water proof. So if you are going swimming, you probably should look for something that is more water proof. |
