Hi,
I've finally plucked up the courage to make my first post!
I'm just starting to use Jane Iredale's Loose Powder Foundation in Satin, but wanted to buy some CoverCare in order to try to disguise my appallingly bad undereye dark circles.
Please could anyone advise me on which CoverCare should would be best to go with Satin Loose Powder base? |

Eek! I was so nervous in writing my first post that I typed "should" instead of "shade"! ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

Hi majorb - welcome to the forum
I haven't tried CoverCare - I'm using the Jane Iredale Circle Delete on dark cirlcles as it covers really well and also is quite creamy and not drying for the eye area. Reading the description of the CoverCare I get the impression that this is a very pigmented concealer, which is good if you need that coverage as long as it's not too drying for the eye area.... |

Thanks so much for the helpful replies and the welcome!
I'd also been considering Circle/Delete, but probably in No. 2 as I understand that's the best one for horrid dark circles. I'll definitely go for that now, I think. |

I use CoverCare in Amber under my Warm Silk loose and pressed foundation (I like my concealers to match my foundation colour). It is warm but to cover dark circles that would be good even if you are neutral toned. That said, it is very, very dry and does not blend well. It's highly pigmented and I use it to cover dark hyperpigments on my upper lip and and post acne spots and if I use a quick hand this super duper pigmented concealer does the job like no other I've tried. I would not use it under my eyes for the simple fact it dries to stubborn, no budge/waterproof finish and I dread drying my eyes out. I also use Circle delete in #2 for stubborn dark blue under my eyes and it works really well, it is made to be used under the eyes. I would recommend this product instead of CoverCare, although it is an outstanding product in it's own right. |

That's a huge help, thanks. Definitely the Circle/Delete then! I really don't want to dry out my undereyes. |

Lolli do you think that the circle deleate would be suitable for covering both under eye and minor blemishes/spots on the face? |

Hi Rosebud! I have used it on a blemish but I found as the day wore on it got oilier therefore lacked staying power. You may like it though. I think the main ingredient is jojoba so if you are ok tolerating it (no breakouts) it shouldn't cause problems. It sure would be handy to find a concealer that does it all! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

Yes I am wondering if I could replace my MAC studio finnish with the circle/deleate. |

Not really. It is rather creamy and thus good for the eye area (or at least good for mine) but I don't know how much lasting power you'd get out of it on say a pimple on your forehead. So far, the best all 'round concealer I have found is the MAC Moisturecover. It will not cover very dark circles but it works very well for just slight ones and also works well on spots etc. My fave way of concealing blemishes is still just good old loose mineral foundation applied to moisturied skin with a fine tipped brush. |

While ordering my JI this evening I noticed this product, which looks a lot like Circle Delete from the description but it's for hyperpigments and bruising. I wonder if it would work under the eyes as well? I went towww.janeiredale.com but couldn't find it in amongst the products, I wanted to check the ingredients. |

C**p! Now I want to try this as well! It sounds pretty good. I've never heard of it though. I had a look on the JI site and couldn't find much info about it either apart from the write up in their "Comprehensive Guide to Jane Iredale..." in Section 2. http://www.janeiredale.com/janesguide/janesguide.html Btw, if you check this page out then have a look at the photos under the "SPF and FDA" heading. |

Good detective work, Mabsy! That's odd it's not on the products page but buried in that other section. I wonder if it's the same formula as the peach half of Circle Delete? |

Sounds pretty much like it, with the Vitamin K and all.
Hmmm...now I'm wondering again which one to get!
If anyone tries it, please report back and let us know what you think. |
