I bought this at walmart, its a great cheap find for a deep conditioner, it makes my hair feel and look very soft and conditioned without weighing it down. I recently got a few highlights in my hair, and with the summer sun my hair was kinda suffering, this really made my hair feel silky and just great overall!
No more expensive hair salon conditioners for me, this works just as well, if not better than the high end ones! |

Thanks for the insight, and I love to hear about bargains. I'm pretty particular about scent of products, as I don't like anything fruity, or overly pungent.
I use Suave Healthy Shine Colour Revitalizing Conditioner & Suave Healthy Shine Colour Revitalizing Shampoo. They're both Pro Vitamin B-5 (knock-offs of Pantene). Cheap, cheap, cheap! At my last salon visit, my hairdresser was absolutely shocked when I told her why my hair was so soft, healthy, etc. I used to buy a lot of really expensive haircare, and now I'm happy with my cheap-ola! |

Is that supposed to be from Australia - or just uses the name "Aussie", cause I've never heard of it . Glad at least the name sake seems a decent product. Im always cautious of home-grown products - it's the australian "she'll be right" attitude that prevents me from taking them seriously....
With thin, blonde hair that rarely behaves, I have experiemented with all sort of stuff and usually find that I get what I pay for and end up with the salon stuff eventually anyway. Have to add that the conditioner I have at the mo is a goldwell avocado milk conditioner, its fantastic - leaves my hair very soft and conditioned. Hardly use any either, so I am glad I like it... |

I've heard of it - as in I've read about it (probably on MUA) but I have not seen it anywhere in the shops in Oz. I'm guessing they're just using our good name |

You have some ‘splaining to do, young lady! You were the one who convinced me to try the Pureology line to take care of my color-treated (red) hair, and now you tell me you’re using drugstore stuff. Geez!!
Okay, so do you still color-treat your hair? If so, how does the Suave stuff do in terms of helping maintain the color so it doesn’t fade completely out after a week?
Since you turned me on to Pureology, I actually *do* notice a HUGE difference using a shampoo and conditioner that don’t contain sulfates in terms of keeping my color for longer, but the stuff is just so damn expensive (although “The Beauty Store” in Austin has a semi-annual BOGO “liter” sale where we if you buy any liter-size shampoo you get the matching conditioner for free, so that’s when I stock up).
For those who are interested in using non-sulfate shampoo and conditioner, I can recommend a nice drugstore version available in the U.S. exclusively at Walgreens, called “Paves No Sulfates Allowed - Shine Repair” shampoo, conditioning milk and conditioning cream/treatment. At $5.99 per 16-oz bottle, it costs a bit more than the Sauve products, but doesn’t put nearly as big a dent in your wallet as a similar-sized bottle of Pureology at twenty bucks a pop!
Hey Moosette -
Would you mind transcribing the 3-Minute Miracle’s ingredient list for us? I’d like to see if it contains any silicones, and – if yes – how many/how much.
TIA,
Carrie |

Wow, that looks really nice. I only see one silicone listed and it’s way down on the bottom of the list (presuming that ingredients are listed in order of content/importance). I might have to get me a bottle/jar/tube of this next time I’m at Walmart! |

Hello,
New here from Australia. I remember using this product years ago but haven't seen it for at least seven years or so. If I remember correctly it isn't made in Au. Loved the way it made my hair feel though and wish I could get my hands on some |

I love these too, they also do one for removing product build up, which really does work. They do have a lovely smell also, nice and coconutty. |

Carekate, make sure you get the one that says DEEEEEP on it, there is another one that is in the same kind of bottle but is different!
I really like the bottle it comes in too, its plastic and you just squeeze the product out onto you hand, no lids or anything, the squeezing brings the product out and it stays nice and sealed when you aren't using it. I don't know how it would be for travelling though, you might have to put it in a ziplock just incase someone sits on your luggage! |

By the way, this product is only made in U.S.A and Canada. And I thought all this time it was made from down under
They use the Austrailian name because they claim it is made from aussie ingredients, don't really know but it is a nice product, it would do Austrailians proud |

Actually, I think the reason that they call it Aussie – in addition to using ingredients from Down Under – is because the person/s who invented it and started the hair-care line are actually transplanted Australians currently living in (I’m pretty sure it was) Southern California. I remember this because they used to have TV commercials where they talked about how the company got started....Although it’s pretty ironic when you think about it that you can’t get the stuff in the country it’s named for! |

We have the Aussie products in the UK. Haven't seen the DEEEEEP stuff though.
There is an original formula of the 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor though. Gorgeous smell.
I stopped buying their products though when they sold out to Proctor & Gamble. |

Does it smell like the 3 Minute stuff? Because for some reason I don't like the smell, I wonder what the scent is exactly. |

I also love the Aussie 3 minute miracle and a hairdresser gave me this tip for REALLY deep moisturising.....wet hair and apply 3 minute miracle, wrap head in cling film (yes really) and then a towel and leave for 20mins. then rinse off nad wash/condition as normal - wonderful result and much better than other more expensive deep conditioners that I've tried. |
