Hi! I need some advice. I'm such a makeup junkie and Lancome is having their cool makeup for fall kit with purchase... and I don't know what to buy! It needs to be worth $26 to get the "free" kit which comes with a firming creme, two neutral eyeshadows, lipstick and small mascara with the plaid bag.
SO ANY advice which product to BUY????
Thanks for any help!!! Vanessa ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |

I ADORE their Flex WP waterproof mascara. The Bifacil remover is also pretty good, and the Focus cream blushes.
The Aroma Source body fragrance is also very nice and clean.
I don't really like the skincare, but the Flash Bronzer gel for the face is nice, too. |

Thanks Nemi!
I think the BiFacil remover came in the kit too. So I can try it before buying it.
But alas, I have oily skin, very oily, so can I ask about the cream blush? Good for us oilies?
And the "flash bronzer"... natural looking? I mean really?
I will prob pass on the mascara; never had luck with them as they usually smear, clump or irritate. I've been using Maybelline's Lash Discovery and will prob stick to their waterproof version. AND the kit does comes with a small sample of one of their mascaras to try anyway....
But the body fragrance sounds very interesting, too. I'll give that one a try. Been using Philosophy's Amazing Grace as its so soft and light for the summer. Would be fun to try something new.
Again thank you for the great information!

The blush should be OK for oily skin, too. It's one of those cream-to-powder formulas, so maybe it's silicone that adds the feeling of slip to it. It dries to a powder on the skin.
The flash bronzer is a self tan for the face, and it is really natural looking, never streaky or orange. |

I recently purchased the Pure Focus Cleanser and Pure Focus Matifying Moisturizer and am really liking both of them. Both are for oilier skins so they are perfect for summer. Since you'll be there already, try to get a sample of these since they are relatively new to the line.

Thanks Cheri,
Hmmm, decisions, decisions.
Thank you as I haven't heard of the Pure Focus line... I will check it out. I'm now using the Alpha CE sample pack for cleansing; found out about it on this forum, and my skin has never been so clear and sweet.
What I find, is that when I've bought a product just to get a cool gift bag, that the product may be good, but not as good as I can find a the drug store; just prettier packaging. So I was hoping for something SPECIAL from Lancome. (I've reviewed that their mascaras are the best, but I do get the sample one in the kit to try.)
Isn't Lancome from the same company as L'Oreal???
But I so appreciate the inputs! Vanessa |

Lancome Hair Sensation Extra Density Renovating Mask. My hair loves this stuff! Cils Booster and Definicils mascara. I'm always on the lookout for a better eyelash primer and mascara. Definicils is one of my top three. |

Their Effacernes waterproof concealer is fantastic. Can be thinned out to use as a base and really provides excellent coverage if you need it.
I like the Deficils? mascara, too. |

I'm another fan of the Effacernes concealer - it goes on really well and doesn't accentuate lining...it's not my absolute first choice for a concealer but it's my first choice product from the Lancome line!

I know you don't want mascara suggestions but I like the Hypnose too, not waterproof. It really does what it says it will do. Definicils too.
I like their nailpolish. They used to have a colour, Snob, best I can describe it was like a translucent lilac. I used to get so many compliments on it, it was like no other colour. It seemed to last a long, long time. The shades at the website are lovely right now. |

Huuu, You guys are sooo bad; so many choices! Thanks for helping to confuse me. The makeup junkie in me thanks you all so much.
I will probably pass on the mascara; I'll try the one that comes in the kit.
I did stop and checked out the body mist... they didn't have the "cool blue" one out, but I did try the green mist and yes, it is light and refreshing. Might be the product I buy to try. I did see lots of skin care, and I could use a toner.... so I'll stop tomorrow again, and look up everyone's suggestions. Thanks to all!!! Vanessa ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |

Gucci! Only if they've been laying around fermenting! LOL.
Thank you that eyeliner tip! I am so curious about it now and just hope they carry that color here!
On another topic, it seems that that "Force" hair mask is very popular, too. And if they don't have that eyeliner, then I'll probably buy the hair conditioner (you should read the ravs) as I can always use a good one.
Just got tired of buying a product that lays around in the bottom drawer, just to get the cute 'free' gift... and thanks to this website, no more waste!
Thanks everyone, Vanessa ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

Thank you all for your suggestions... well, I got the nice gift; the free goodies included the mascara.. which does smear under my very oily eyes. The shadows are nice.
And the product I decided on? I picked the hair mask off this topic, but once I got there, the beauty consultant showed me their new "powder to go"; its a travel like brush with powder which IS very good for my oily skin. So far, it travels nicely and matches well.
So again, thank you ALL very much!!! Vanessa ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |
