For 24 bucks you get ten generous samples of different eye shadows of your choice. I highly recommend this as a way of trying out which shadows you want. That way if you don't like it, your only out a few bucks.
Plus I got a really great eyeshadow brush (it's double ended, I've been just using Q-tips) at no extra cost.
Don't forget to put "eds" in the coupon section for your 15% off.
Also, you can order them individually (this goes for their foundations, concealers, etc.). Since I change my eyeshadow all the time, I might just do this for awhile, since I can't ever commit to one shade for a long period of time. The color is great! You can make it as light or as intense as you want.
The only thing I wish is that their shadow colors came in different finishes like their foundation. I don't usually wear matte eyeshadow and some of their colors that I want to try are only in matte.
I wish every cosmetics company did samples! It would have saved me ALOT of money...whew! |

I really like EDM but haven't tried any eyeshadows yet. Thank you for the review, I might try a few samples before buying full sizes. What finishes did you get if not matte? I don't like anything too shiny! |

None of these, in my opinion, is super shiny.
You can make them as intense or as light as you want. It's really versatile. I'm about to put in another order for four more minis (at 2.50 USD a pop...it's great) . I'm hooked!
Sigh. I think I hear my credit card groaning now...lol.

ParisTroika, how did you find the staying power of your eyeshadows? Do you use any eye primer?
Mine lasts only for half a day. |

I have used an eye shadow base for years so it does help. I've been using Benefit FY...Eye but soon, maybe even today if I get coordinated with hubby for the car, I'm running to the MAC counter to buy MAC paint in canvas, or bare canvas, whatever the name of the color is , for my next base. I've been using the benefit one for a few years, actually one of two or three things I actually repurchase time and time again (I get bored otherwise), but the MAC paint is cheaper. I haven't tried using it as an eyeshadow base yet, but I have used other colors as liner and they stick! My eyeshadow, if I don't use a base, always ends up in my crease by lunchtime...I think it might be my oily skin. I can't tell you how a base helps!!! It's absolutely great!!! |

Mine ends up in the same place.
When you buy your new primer, please, let me know how you like it, what is the full name, and what is the price. Thank you. |
