Hi lassie1234 - I know you can't tolerate prescription retinoids (neither can I), but some sort of eye cream containing retinol would probably help. Also, a mild glycolic product will slough off that crepey skin. There are many brands to choose from. I imagine Estee Lauder has a retinol eye treatment -- since you like their products, why not stick with it? MD Forte makes reasonably-priced glycolic products that are very effective. Their Skin Rejuvenation Eye Cream (with retinol and 10% glycolic acid) was the first and only eye cream I ever used and it tightened and smoothed my lids.
But I'm still loving IS Clinical Firming Complex for smoothing and refining my skin. I like their Super Serum (with Vit.C) too. I occasionally use some glycolic cream at night just for the hell of it, but with IS Clinical, I can't really say I NEED it anymore. |

Hi Lassie - what are you currently using on the eye area as a treatment? How long have your lids been like this? Is it sore?

well i use to use bobbi brown's remover. then it started burning. aaww about 6 mo. or more. then went to chanel. i have always used estee lauders eye creams.then i stopped for awhile and went to Dr Denese. thats when i noticed it. i stopped using alot of her products.. just didnt like them. so i went back to estee lauder.so maybe i screwed everything up during the switch or its my skin getting older. i dont know. but im gonna try estee lauders new product for that and see what happens..
