I can sum this up really easily:
It's like MaxFactor Lipfinity
and Cogergirl Outlast Lipcolor
Except it doesn't feel like your lips are being peeled from your face and you can use any lip balm with it without it dissolving the color. In fact, it feels like nothing more than the gloss you're wearing with it, and once that wears off it stays nicely moisturized.
It stays on through food, drink, and casual smooching. I'd say about 8 hour wear. If I wore it to work and then wanted to go out I'd probably reapply.
Couple of bad things:
The color of the tube is not necessarily indicative of the color of the lipstick. It goes on sheer and lighter than the color in the tube, generally. "Peach" is sorta a bubblegum pink, and "Chestnut" is nude. I forgive them, though, since both of these colors I have look fabulous on me. Also, it doesn't seem to come with much gloss or color in the tube, but it could be the nifty packaging fooling me. I don't see an ounce specified on the tube anywhere for container volume.
It's cheap, comfortable, and stays on. If you're a fan of longwearing lipstick I suggest you pick up a tube. |

Does it flake off or fade away like regular lipstick? I've used the other long wearing products before and was left with dry, flaky pieces of color on my lips at the end of the day - yuck. Also, what do you use to remove it? |

It wears off after about 8 hours. I haven't had any problem with the flakey bits that you're talking about with Superstay, but yes I know from Lipfinity. When you first paint it on it feels stiff but once you but the gloss over it (or whatever you want to use) it feels like nothing more than that.
I haven't had to use anything special to take it off. Difficult to describe, actually, since it does stay on. It sort of gently fades away. I don't think you'll need anything special to remove it. |

I agree with you Harmonster. Maybelline Superstay is the best I've found so far. No flaking, and lasts most of the day. All the other ones I've tried except Superstay severely dries my lips out.
The only problem I have with this is there is no writing on the tube that tells you what the brand is or the color name. On mine there is only a very tiny white circle on one end that has a color number on it (mine is 720)and some other tiny writing that I can't even see well enough to read. When I went back to the drugstore to get another tube, I had to search around to find it. |

I bought one in the blossom color and LOOVE IT! It goes on sheer and is a beautiful color. Stays on well and doesn't crack or peel away like the other ones. Thanks for the heads up on this great lip product. |
