ok so I heard so many rave reviews of JI that I decided to order some samples. But I am having a hard time getting it to work. I can't seem to figure out how to cover pimples with it. When I try to I just end up looking powdery and they still show through? Should I be using a seperate concealor?
Also, even though I apply Smashbox primer underneath, my JI still seems to dissappear a few hours after I put it on. I had heard that it had awesome staying power but maybe I am putting it on wrong?
Also is the Handi brush necessary to use the JI? I have just been using a regular powder brush. Thanks so much for helping me!! |

Hi,
I am no expert on JI but I have some break outs I need to cover here and there and through trial and error I found out that you need a yellow based makeup to cover red. So the Warm Silk is what I use even though my skin tone is more the radiant color. I use a q tip to first apply to the pimple before dusting all over. The loose powder is the best.
I have been using it for over two year and have tired the pressed powder and no matter how much I used it would not cover my acne.
I hope this helps you. As for a primer there is the absence which is great to decrease oil in the skin and helps the make up look good. I also use the balance spray over my make up to set it.

Hi Reevec
Hope you found the above advice helpful. Recently I have been using the JI concealer for pimples (new product). It took a while for me to get it just right, you need to use it with a brush and very little! Then dust your foundation over. I think it works the best for giving a really nice even appearance of the skin.

first- try using the ji without primer, second- use the flocked sponge for good coverage, third- mist a toner over the powder to set the makeup |
