Hi!
OK, I've read so much hype about these products I had a look at the website - HOW expensive?!?!?
Anyway - has anyone tried the shampoo and/or conditioner? Are they any good? Is it worth the money?
(I have the opportunity to get some travel sizes but even those are pricey so want to get some opinions before I indulge. Problem with products that are hyped so much - you are usually disappointed! (Like Creme De La Mer - finally caved ages ago and got some - it was nice enough but I was expecting something fabulous from the hype, it did the job but is full of petrochemicals and I've used much nicer face cream for a lot less money - eg - RYF Ambrosia).
Thanks! |

Looks like a rip off to me If you bought it, I reckon you'd end up with really bad hair because you'd be so stingy using it, that you wouldn't wash it as often as you should!
I've started just using conditioner to wash my hair with and the difference is amazing. I can't get over how lush it looks and how soft. Best thing is, is that it works best with cheap conditioners!

PS Sorry you missed out on the compact. You can get refills for about £20 I think or look on ebay, you see them there sometimes! |

I haven't tried the white truffle stuff, but the Hemp Seed shampoo and conditioner for chemically treated hair are both absolutely divine. |

Guapa -- you don't use shampoo at all? Don't your roots get greasy?? I can't imagine doing that but maybe it works! |

I have started washing with conditioner only. first I give my hair a really good brushing with my mason pearson brush to distribute the oils from scalp down to the ends and then I stand under a hot shower and massage my scalp. I do this for about 2 mins.
Next a big dollop of cheap (ie no silicones) conditioner and massage that in like you'd shampoo your hair, and then rinse out with warm water and a final blast of cold.
I had to do it every day at first, but now I'm leaving it to every other day as my scalp is producing less oil now it isn't getting stripped all the time.
I had tried this before and it didn't work, but I wasn't doing all the scalp massage and brushing then. I was also using a really heavy moisturising conditioner. Apparantly, cheap is best!
I'm pleased this method is working because with dying my hair and it growing quite long now, it was starting to look really bad. The improvement in just over a week is amazing |
