Hi Gina
My set of brushes consists of Jane Iredale, Bare Minerals and Laura Mercier.
I think the Bare Minerals powder brush is the absolute best from all I've tried so far. I've also got Jane Iredale Eye Liner, Eye Shader and Eye Contour brushes. They're fantastic! I highly recommend them!
EDS sells both the BM and the JI brushes btw.

I have Jane Iredale, Bobbi Brown, and MAC brushes. MAC is almost identical to BB and much cheaper. My favorite brush is the Jane Iredale Handi-Brush. The pressed mineral base goes on like a dream with that brush. |

Alexis, How do you like the pressed powder by Jane Iredale? I am loving the liquid, and I use the loose over that, but am thinking of trying the pressed next. Thanks! |

Hello Gina !
The following are my favorite brushes and I'm so proud to own them ( feel like a real MA :P): JI Handi Brush, Eye Concealer Brush, Eye Shader and Eye Contour and MAC Foundation Brush and Morgen Schick Concealer Brush and Lip Brush. |

I use the pressed because it's easy for me at 5:30 am when I get ready for work! Let's see... it's just like JI loose minerals but not as "shiny" after you put it on. For the first 15 minutes or so after putting it on, you look a bit dry and it doesn't look smooth. But after a few minutes, it settles on the skin and looks great. In mid-winter I sometimes spray the H20 mist over the top and it softens the look nicely. But I wouldn't recommend it unless you have somewhat oily skin. See what others have to say about it. But I will say it is the best of all the mineral type makeups. Helpful? Alexis |
