I gotta say, i love this! I picked it up about a week ago even though i wasn't out of my lancome eye cream de soleil spf 40 because of curiosity, and because the lancome was starting to bug me--my eye makeup would smear everywhere in this hot weather.
at abour $24-5 dollars, this is awesome. It uses 100% mineral filters, titanium dioxide. I would have preferred zinc oxide since it's more stable, but i won't be too picky since eye creams hardly come made with an spf of over 15, and this one has spf 30!
i used it the next day and wow, it really sinks in and quick. it didn't make a white cast either! i read that some ladies on MUA complained that it wasn't moisturizing enough and use a separate eye cream over the clarins. i don't do that however cause i think the moisture around there is fine for day time. when i applied my eye makeup and eyeliner, hardly a smear hours later!
anyways, just wanted to let yall know how much i like this, no more raccoon eyes for me this summer |

Just picked it up on my way home yesterday from work. Tried it this morning, so far so good I suppose. I rarely wear any eye makeup so that's not an issue for me, maybe a tad of mascara and that's about it. |

Hi aries--still loving this though i have noticed it does get dry during the day. i layered under shiseido eye soother today and liked the results better.
it's funny you say you only wear mascara. i wear everything for my eyes except that! mascara always feels funny and it smears like crazy on me. |

^^ Do you tint your eyelashes? I do. It feels a lot better than mascara. |

Hi Lucinda,
thanks for the tip on tinting but i have black eye lashes as i am asian but it's nice wearing mascara for length. but i was wondering about lash tinting. i always thought it was illegal but know if it's discussed here, i guess it's not when you say lash tinting, do you mean lash dyeing? i have a friend with very blonde eyelashes and she's curious. |

Skincare,
Still using it and don't notice any flaking or drying near the eye area. I only wear mascara, but that's usually during the weekend. During the week I put nothing on my face (as far as makeup is concerned). I'm a minimalist when it comes to that stuff. I do tint my eyelashes too. |

aries--yup no flaking from the clarins, but it doesn't sooth out the skin around my eyes so i noticed a couple fine, fine lines, so i decided to add another eye cream for day.
i thought you were asian aries, you still tint your lashes even though they are dark already? |

Skin,
Oh okay I misunderstood. I'll check closer today to see if I notice the fine lines action going on with this sunscreen..yet.
I am asian, eh..I thought I'd tint them because everyone was raving about it. They do seem darker and the ends are filled in since the tips do tend to be lighter or (white) if you will.
I'm thinking about dying my eyebrows with brown or something, mine are so thin and sparse. |

I just wanted to respond to skincareaddicted on the eyelash tinting question. I also have very dark eyelashes, but eyelash tinting made a HUGE difference.
The very tips of your eyelashes are actually either white or translucent (mine are translucent). When I tinted them, they looked instantly longer and thicker. Plus, the tint makes them very glossy. I haven't worn mascara since! |

My eyelashes are so dark too, almost black, so you'd assume that tinting would make no noticeable difference, but you'd be amazed at how much better they look after tinting. |

Me too!! It's fantastic!
I don't think it is illegal. Actually I think it might be in the states, but places offer it anyway.
It is really popular here in Australia. But when I am living in the US, I can always find a place that will do it. |

This eyecream is not available in Australia yet.
I managed to get some Duty Free at KLA and it is really good. |

Skincare,
Is it me or does this cream seem a little heavy, I have to really rub it in so there isn't a white film left, but love it nonetheless. |

aries--i didn't notice heaviness really, but i did notice it left a very faint white cast if i wear my tinted sunscreen as opposed to the clear one. it seems to disappear after a little while and when i apply my eye shadow. don't rub too hard though, we don't want any wrinkles created in the process |

Skin,
yeah it does leave a little bit of a white cast, but no biggie, just rub a little more and it's pretty much gone. I did put on some eye cream under it this morning and I think it applied a little bit more smoothly. |
