Well I'll preface this by saying this isn't going to be a fair review because I only tried samples.
Monave has a wide variety of colors to choose from and the owner is super nice and knowledgeable. I REALLY want to like loose mineral foundation, but so far the colors I've tried in both these lines are not exact, and I don't want to be buying more than one shade and mix them myself. I'm too lazy and that's too time consuming. The #2 B.E. comes the closest. Monave has shades that are complimetary for Asian and other women of color, but on me I found them to be either too yellow or too dark. they also didn't blend as well as B.E. But Monave has THE BEST eyeshadow I have ever tried so far. It is just gorgeous on.
The application technique is really hard for me to master with these mineral foundations. I end up putting it all over my whole face, when I normally just apply it to my t-zone, because the current foundation I use is the perfect match. So I am still on the search for the perfect mineral foundation (big sigh)... |
