Just got a sample with my reorder of Dr H CC and I love it. Just used it several days so far but it really adds to my routine to perk up my skin. Anyone else use it and have long term good results? How does it compare to the homemade ACV toner which I have not been brave enough to make yet? |

I use both Dr Hasuchka Clarifying Toner and Homemade ACV toner alternately. Definitely had great results with both. ACV is much cheaper but the smell and refreshing feeling I get with the Dr H is more pleasant. |

Hi Annie
I have been through 3 bottles of the Dr H Toner, for my sensitive-ish skin it was quite good - it was the whole rubbing action that aggrivated redness. But I do find that it does sting a little sometimes as it has quite a lot of plant alcohols in it compared to regular dr H toner.
I also introduced ACV with green tea this year, and it is also very calming for the skin.
I'd prefer the Dr H because I dont have to make it myself but because it costs $50 a bottle here I use it sparingly.. I always seem to spritz too much on my face!! |

Now I did really like this toner but was not impressed at the price. I now use either the ACV toner or witch hazel. If I had lots of extra pennies and did not want so many other products then yes I probably would go and buy a big bottle of this. I think the spritzer bottle is a great idea, all toners should come in spray bottles!!! |

I had never been a fan of toners until I found Clinique Mild Clarifying Toner (I think it's Clinique's only one with salicylic acid)and used it for years. I heard raves about Dr H's Clarifying too so I tried it and loved it as well, but like others, I detested the price. I then moved on to 1 part water/1 part ACV toner and then on to straight ACV Toner. Now I've moved on to my HG toner DDF 10% Glycolic Toner at night before my retinoid and use the straight ACV in the morning. So far so good! The ACV toner (like Dr H's) seems to make my skin glow and the DDF has cleared up the tiny whiteheads and clogged pores I had on my chin that I couldn't get rid of for years. Also, I was prone to tiny blackheads on my nose that has since disappeared. I had tried products in the past that diminished these for a short time then returned, but I think the DDF/ACV has frightened them off for good. I know the DDF 10% and straight ACV isn't for everyone, but in my case I guess I wasn't using strong enough products.
I really love the scent of Dr. H Clarifying and it's so relaxing to use, but you should really try ACV when you get a chance. It takes some getting used to the smell, but you'll more than likely immediately love the results.

After I apply my mineral makeup I spritz my kabuki with Dr H Clarifying Toner and lightly buff. Leaves my skin glowing! |

Ksee what a geat idea
I found that the Dr H Claryfying Toner was more like a spritz than a toner for me, it's a shame because I really do love the scent but found it did not tighten my pores enough |

Do you find that the ACV tightens pores better? |

I did not find the Dr H drying at all and yes the ACV has tightened my pores. Witch hazel also works well at tightening pores. |
