OK, I have waited over two months to post this message, because I wanted to make sure that this skin-care line was really working for me....
I've tried it all: Dr. HCC, Dermalogica, Decleor, Cetaphil, Essential Oils, and I have to say that my skin looks truly fabulous with Paula's Choice!!
I know, I know, she is very controversial, given her sometimes super-negative reviews about products! I also know what it is like to find a product that I like, only to look up what she has written about it and feel lousy that she thinks the product stinks!! But I have to say, her line is really very good and has made an unbelievable difference in my skin! I'm so happy! I'm using her cleanser, toner, two different moisturizers, 2% BHA Liquid 5-6 times a week, 8% AHA 1-2 times a week, and occasionally her antioxidants!
I am now completely zit-free, my pores are very clean, my skin is a lot smoother, and I am really thrilled!! Just for the record, I have sun damaged fair skin, large pores, and will be 40 tomorrow! Given my history with the sun, I think I really look wonderful now that I am consistently using her line!
BTW - I am only raving about the skin care line, not her make-up. From what I have seen, her foundations are too yellow and make-up colors are too strong for me. But, the skincare line is fragrance-free, dye-free, very well priced, and truly works like a dream for me! |

Thank you for all of your warm birthday wishes! Turning 40 wasn't too bad, and they say you are only as old as you feel.....
Regarding my skin story, I'm really so happy with PC! Even my generally large pores seem to be a lot better, an added "plus" for me!
I am also starting to experiment with loose minerals again, something I stayed away from for the last year or so. Last few weeks I have been using Aromaleigh's Glissade, which isn't bad but may be too drying/sheer for me. The jury is still out on that one. As I write this I am wearing Jane Iredale - I don't have bismoth problems but today I put it on way too thick (such a learning curve with MMU) so I look a little mask-like. Oh well, there is always tomorrow!
I am planning to try bareFaced, Cory, J. Lynne and M.A.D. minerals next, because these are all well-reviewed. Will write back as my experiment continues.... |
