A Sephora staffer was kind enough to spend a lot of time with me a few nights ago - I was hoping to get an opinion on my DeCleor favorites - I got that and a lot of information about a new product.
I wondered if anyone has heard of it or better still, has tried it. He gave me some printed info, here is the pitch --
"RMX is an exclusive complex of growth factor proteins and peptides that empower the cells to act younger. RMX empowers the cells to build the collagen, elastin and other structural components of the extra cellular matrix which are critical to the maintenance of a youthful appearance. RMX reintroduces a proprietary, natural complex that promotes firmer, thighter skin while visibly reducing the depth and number of wrinkles."
This caught me by surprise -- You use is once every 6 months for 28 days and it is delivered frozen, packed in dry ice. Anyone familiar with this??

Oh yeah, I've read about this! I think it was a DDF product. If I recall correctly it costs about $1000 or around that Needless to say, I haven't tried it |

You got that right!
There are three products in the line, RMX Maximum was priced at $1000!! I just wondered WHAT could be so fabulous???
RMX Intense and RMX Essential were considerably less expensive, but still way over my limits. |

I was just over at Bath & Body Works in Houston and they are going to carry all three products. However, the RMX is already sold out and they are starting waiting lists!
So then the lady tells me I should try one of the other products...one is $500 and the other is $200. I don't even own a pair of shoes that is worth $200!!!
Crazy. maybe someone will try it and let us know if it really works! |

According to the September issue of Allure, these frozen vials contain extracts of cows milk with concentrated proteins called growth factors which are supposed to enhance cell metabolism. DDF has released a double-blind study for this product:
"After a 28-day regimen, laboratory measurements showed that 100% of the study subjects (49 women) had experienced a decrease in pore size, 93% of them had a reduction of crow's-feet, and 93% of them experienced greater overall elasticity."
Hmm...anyone tempted? |

No way could I ever spend that much money on a skin care product and sleep at night. There are so many other things I would rather do or have.
I would think before someone would try such a product they would consider professional treatments ie: peels, Botox, fat injections. |
