Rodial glamoxy snake mask:

http://www.rodial.co.uk/product/skincare-serums-masks/glamoxy-snake-mask/300

Review:

Well, at last my friends now what to buy me for my birthday, skin care products, hooray!

So on my 53rd birthday, a good friend bought me the Rodial glamoxy snake mask.

Approximate cost £68.00, phew, I must be worth it.

The mask aims to brighten the skin, and the temple viper venom is used in the mask to reduce fine lines, a bit like a topical botox.

At £68.00, I was a bit worried about not over applying the product, but it is very sticky and thick, so application is difficult. It takes sometime to get a complete joined up mask, as the aim is to remove the mask whole, with one flick of the wrist! Very Happy

I left the product to do its work for 20 mins, the mask gets very tight and dries out fairly quickly, so isn't a relaxing experience, but I was patient, as the product is black, it is a little striking and my partner who is Simon, did have a good chuckle, I didn't care, I stuck with the 20 mins timing!

Time to remove the mask, I started to peel at one corner of the mask, it didn't grab the rest of the mask, so tried another corner, that took about 20% with it, I repeated this a all four corners, and it started to get very messy, and the mask started to get wet and messy, so I jumped in the shower and just washed it off. Shock

The results, my skin was glowing, but I do get that with a cheap face pack from Boots the chemist, did I see any reduction in fine lines, and can put this down to the £68.00 mask, nope!

I think it was a lovely thought, my friend bought this expensive mask, but one it runs out, I will go back to my cheap and cheerful ones!

Have any of my EDS pals tried this product, do tell! Question

PQ Very Happy

Belated happy Birthday.

What nice friends you have. Perhaps it is tme I found some new more generous friends. Only joking. I have fantastic generous friends.

I havent tried this mask and the only way I would try it is if someone gave it to me as a gift. At that price I would expect a miracle mask. I agree on the cheap boots masks, the suit me fine for a temporary fix.

It is a shame you didn't even get to have a nice relaxing half an hour with the mask on. I do like to relax with a face mask.

Me too, love a nice relaxing mask, there are so many in Boots all under £5.00 / maybe we should start a new item, which is your best product for under a fiver?

Honey, you look great!

We went to:

http://www.marriott.co.uk/hotels/hotel-rooms/lonpr-st-pancras-renaissance-london-hotel/

We stayed in the Royal Suite, and wined and dined in the hotel.

He took me to the Chelsea Flower Show:

http://www.rhs.org.uk/shows-events/RHS-Chelsea-Flower-Show/2012

And then we spent a day in the Spa:

http://www.marriott.co.uk/hotels/hotel-information/fitness-spa-services/lonpr-st-pancras-renaissance-london-hotel/

So I was completely and utterly spoilt.

This is an up to date picture of Evie:
