Hi
i received a sample of the epidermx and was pleased the first time i used it and got the lovely skin balling up!! I used it again 2 days later and i still got some balling but afterwards my face was really red and hot - i think my skin is too sensitive to use it this frequently - do any others use this product just once a week and still get good results?? I have nearly been afraid to use it again!
I found the Camelia Oil very soothing on it though. My husband gets cross with me when i muck about with my face and tells me to leave it alone!! |

Hi,
I had the same experience with microdermxx. I read abouth that onwww.smartskincare.com
Someone had a topic there wich products realy worked for your skin.I ordered the step one and two and I used it three times now..getting breakout on my chin and dryed out cheeks..My problem is that I always think the grass is more green on the other side of the ocean ) (live in Holland)
Before this I used Penzim at night. It's a product from Iceland but I can buy it here in Holland. I mix it three times a week with some vit.A. serum at night. It's the ultimate moisterezer and it heals the skin.So I'm back with my olde regim now, and put the microdermxx away.

I think that if you're using it as microdermabrasion (as opposed to just a scrub) then you probably shouldn't be using it more than once a week.
I've only used epidermx once and my face went all red and it actually hurt while I was rubbing the stuff in. I haven't tried it since. I do like their DermaButter though - nice stuff! |

I bought Epidermx about a year ago. While the first time I used it all seemed OK after that my face felt sore. I find that I get the same exfoliating results from gentle products ie: PSF Pumpkin Peel (powerful/no grains),Janson Beckett's Renewed Radiance Exfoliant (excellent exfoliant), Dr. H Cleansing Cream(nice ). Epidermx while great for some is much too harsh for me. Sorry, I might be wrong, but I don't think all that balling is skin. If it is (for me) it would be way too much skin to come off my face all at once . The product actually scratched my face. In all fairness my skin can be fragile and I should know better to use harsh product. |

I've been using this for a year or so now but I only use it when my skin looks like it needs 'something' extra.(Usually as a boost once a month maybe a bit more in the winter if I'm looking dull etc. If I use it too often it can feel a bit , sore isn't the right word, but a bit like I've been out in the elements for too long. It is a Microdermabrasion product ans if you ever have a microderm treatment in a salon it does leave your skn more pinky and more sensitive - it's taking off quite a lot of natural protection of all those old skin cells etc. Its a fab product but not perhaps suitable for those with sensitive skin. |
