I stumbled across this site seeking something new after throwing out the Obagi that I was (over) sold. Since then, however, I can't help but check out the Obagi chat forum to see how the users are doing. Well, reading their stories long enough will bring you to tears. Some of them have such painful experiences on that product, it makes your heart bleed. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that some of the posters on this forum could help the Obagi users get through the side effects (peeling skin, cracked skin, cystic acne... pain in general) with natural remedies. The problem would be that Obagi is premised on the theory that any other products, which might mean natural remedies, will interfere with effectiveness. I have no purpose in this rant other than to share with you all how grateful I am to have stumbled on a site where beauty does not mean pain. |

Hi LandB
You could always go over there and post that
A. Beauty doesn't have to hurt
B. That you know of a place that might be able to help.
and
C. Give them the URL for this site
But you know ... there isn't a line in existence that doesn't try to tell you that each individual product works synergistically with all the others ... and that if you don't use them all ... you don't get the benefit. That is, after all, the purpose behind marketing an entire line of products.
Heck ... in some cases it might even be true!
If you let people know that this site exists ... and that so many of the members share freely with their knowledge and experience, the worst thing that can happen is that these Obagi users decide not to trust what's said here.
I don't know anything about that particular line of products ... but anything that did that much damage to my skin would be tossed pronto!
