Could anyone tell me how much vit. C is in the face serum and the eye serum of the C esta products by Jan Marini? How do they differ from the Perricone C ester products? Is one better than the other?
Does anybody know which is stronger in the vit. C area. I have been using Cellex C advanced or Primacy serums. How do they compare to the Ester C products?
Has anyone used these products and what are your thoughts? |

I use Jan Marini. I think it is very similar to the Perricone products but am not positive. It is a different form of vit. C than skinceuticals/cellex C uses. There is argument in the skin care community about the use of ascorbyl palmitate(Jan Marini and possibly Perricone) vs. L-ascorbic acid (in Skinceuticals (SC) and Cellex C). Each group claims that there substance gets into the skin better. The Jan Marini products are less drying and tough on the skin but don't appear to have the research that the others do. Duke Univ. researchers say only ascorbic acid really penetrates and works on the skin. Who knows! I guess the best way to see is to try it! Perhaps you can tell us if you try both!! I have thought about buying skinceuticals and doing a "half face" study of my own to see which one is better!!
Perhaps Magda or Casper's (the kitty) Mum can add some light to this! I have only been using Jan Marini face serum and eye repair concetrate for about 4 weeks. I don't really see significant changes yet but I don't think it happens that soon!
Hope this helps somewhat! |

I use CellexC for 4 weeks with visible results, esp the eye serum. Do start with the weaker concentration as the strongest one is quite 'smarting' on the sensitive areas |

I am just curious as I am new to these products as well. What sort of results are you seeing.... i.e. decreased lines, better skin color, decreased puffinesss etc. etc. Just curious because I am considering cellex c or skinceuticals. Especially if they show better results than Jan marini!! Thanks! |
