Hey all,
Can you guys tell me where I could have milia on the lower eyelid removed?
I dont know if dermatologists perform such precedures... if so, how could I find someone who is going to know what theyre doing and not cause scarring since its below the eye and the skin is so thin and fragile over there?

| Aga - is it on the eye lid or below the eye? If it's below the eye then a derm should be able to remove it. However, I would suggest (accurately) spot treating it with some eye cream with AHAs in it and it should disappear fairly quickly without any need to get it extracted. Generally these things DO disappear given the right product (and assuming that you stopped using whatever caused it). |

| Agree. Thats the best way to remove milia. Paula's Choice 1% BHA worked very well for me. You have be consistent. Just a dab on CLEAN skin. Eventually it disappears. |

The milia is below the eye...
I tried to extract it myself but with no luck
What products do think would get rid of it?

Any gentle product with AHAs applied over a few days should do. I've used MD Formulations Vit-a-Plus eye cream with success (only on the actual millia though). |

Well, I finally confronted my fear of AHA's near my eye and bought MDF V+ eye cream. Did what Mabsy said, just used a little bit right on the milia.
It did a remarkable job. Used if for about three days, only at night, and it did seem to considerably dry up the milia. I had mostly little ones, an eighth the size of a poppyseed, if you'd like a visual. Though there was one about the size of a poppyseed and it also dried up. My skin did start to peel a bit toward the end, but it wasn't too bad.
Stopped using after the third day because I was paranoid about excessive dryness. I do still have some milia, but think I will just take it slowly and maybe use it a few days every couple weeks.
The best thing is that I used my LaPrairie Lipo Sculpting gel during the day and LRP FE 60 on top of that
(this time paranoid about sun damage with an AHA/Vit A product) and the milia show no sign of returning.  |

Hi Mabsy,
It's gotten a little better! I switched to Barbor cream full time and I dont see any more appearing for now.  As soon as I am done with it ( getting there) I am going to try the MDF VITA
For the milia that was aleady there, I dont recomend anyone do this on their own, but I popped 3 of them with a needle.....and it worked This wasnt too bad since it was located more in the upper cheek area than the eyelid where I wouldnt mess with it since the skin is so thin there...

Hi everyone,
I have had milia below both eyes for about 18 months now. I have tried several things without success mainly recommendations on here and have wasted a lot of money as most of these products are not available in the UK. Was beginning to give up hope of getting rid of it - my doctor refused to get rid of it for me as it is close to my eye he was scared of scarring. 
I decided to order a product I had seen before but there were only a few reviews but I decided to take a chance. It is Naturalis milia treatment and you can order it from their website, it gets sent from Singapore. It is only a little pot but it will last for ages. You put it on milia quite thickly and let it sink in. Has Salicylic Acid in it so I don't use it every day but already I have some exfoliation which I never have before with the other products I have used and my milia are flatter and less noticeable now. My milia was bad so I knew it wouldn't be an overnight success but I'm pleased with the progress so far. Hope this helps.
