I am male what i have isn;t even that uncommon, and mine certainly isn;t the worst case of it. but I have that thing you know where your cheeks are kinda red, like blood vessels are showing or something, they look sorta blotchy. Now I have been using a chammomile soap, toner and moisterusizer to tryand get rid of this (i just thought maybe using skin care stuff might help) but its not really. is there any product designed or thing i can do to make my skin go to its natural pale colour all over?

Sounds like you have rosacea but I'm no expert, just a skincare junkie. You have a couple choices - a dermatologist can recommend Metrogel(prescription) to help reduce the redness, or e-mail the aestheticians here and explain. They are wonderful. Using the right combination can help. Cheryl |

Just wanted to let you know that rosacea is really no big deal, if that's what you really have. A regular physican, a good one, can diagnose rosacea also. Here's a big clue - does the redness look kinda like a butterfly shape across your nose and into your cheeks? Then it's possibly rosacea. Otherwise, you may just have irritated skin. So email EDS and give them as much detail as you can and they usually reply within 24 hours. And then thank them profusely cuz they are soooo nice AND knowledgable. |

well its maybe a bit butterfly-ish its not under my eyes, but it is on my cheeks, I dunno you can almosts see the line where it starts.
I am obviously keeping in mind that it may be this rosacea, but I emailed the people here and there's a chance that it may be just my cigarette intake damaging capillaries, or products I've been using being to harsh. I guess its not to much of a biggy, my skin looks ok today (i skipped using the lush stuff) so hopefully a few weeks without cigarettes and following some of the advice I got on webpages will have it looking even better, i could certainly cope with that.
thank you though (and yeah I did thank them profusely) |

yeah, i also think its rosecea. it sudden came right? this is also hereditary and its not completely curable, but it can be treated. this usually hides, but after a long time, it will show up again depending on how and what u do to ur skin. |
