I'm on a cleanser kick. Trying to find one that is gentle, removes makeup, and just feels good. I've tried quite a few lately and here's the verdict:
DDF Gentle Cleanser - not for me. More like a Cetaphil cleanser which is much cheaper anyway. For me, didn't feel clean.
DDF Pick Me Up Grapefruit Cleanser - I like this one a lot. Burns my eyes for makeup removal so not a fav. Refreshing, clean feel and removes makeup though I'm not sure heavy makeup would come off easily.
Kinerase Gentle Cleanser - This is creamy, lathers slightly, and cleans the skin well without feeling tight. Didn't make me feel "better for using it" though.
Ole Henriksen Exhilerating (Orange) Cleanser - This is my new fav! And good thing because I bought a huge bottle of it. It doesn't tingle, very gentle, yet somehow feels healing to the skin. Nice smell, don't need much, removes makeup beautifully and non-drying.
So there's my contribution! My skin is normal/slightly oily, slightly sensitive (depends on ingred) and mature.

Lexy:
As you know my skin is mature, combo, sensitive. My favorite cleansers and toners are Janson Becketts Cleansing Milk and Organic Skin Toner. I also love Pure Skin Formulation's Green Tea Facial Cleanser. I like Repair & Renew Toner but prefer the scent of JB's Toner. Both have been kind to my skin. Must admit I don't get as excited about cleanser as I do treatments . In a cleanser I look for a product that is gentle but does a good job of totally cleaning my face. Using a toner has been a luxury I can't do without as it removes any residue left after cleansing. I refuse to pay a fortune for cleansers and toners. Too many cleansers have left my skin taunt. When I find a few that work I am pleased. |

Winnie, The PSF Green Tea Cleanser is on my list to try. I ordered the Henriksen cleanser from Skinterra because I was getting my other "loot." Looks like it will take me years to go through the cleanser though!

I just saw PSF has a new toner: Firming Facial Toner. Sounds very nice. When I ordered my sample pack from PSF I also tried the Papaya Cleansing Gel. Receiving my samples in early summer was a perfect time for the cleansing gel as I tend to be more oily. PSF does have samples Lexy. |
