I want to order a foundation (Glissade) and a cheek color...maybe some eye colors too! I'm just that crazy! I use light BE mineral foundation or NW20 MAC foundation...can anyone suggest a color for me? I would also love to hear your cheek and eye color suggestions. I've heard great reviews on these products so I'm excited to try them...any tips are also appreciated.
Thanks,

I'm actually planning to order me several samples as well. I'm still undecided as to which foundation to go with, Glissade or Voile. My skin is normal to dry but also has some oil in the t-zone. It's kinda crazy I know. So, I'm not sure which one would work best for me. I also have no idea about color, particularly since there are so many to choose from. Luckily the samples are pretty cheap! |

I have the SAME skin! I'm all over the board...that is why I was thinking of going with Glissade because it says it forms a barrier. |

Glissade is wonderful - silky smooth, formulated for drier skins. It sounds like you would be either a 2Y/L or 2W/L. I am/was an NC20 in MAC and either of the above two were great. 2Y/L is the perfect neutral beige with slight yellow undertone while 2W/L is a little more on the peachier side.
Oh don't even get me started on eye and cheek with Aromaleigh....my favorite neutrals are Dune and Shell, but the Lustres are so pretty -Olivia, Chloe, Nanette, Persephone....my all time favorite cheek color is Verve. It's the perfect peachy-pink-red, I can't describe it. Rosette, Champagne, Nectar - other pretty blushes.
For a lovely "glow" ya gotta try a sample of Illusion or Splendor in the Perles. Your skin looks airbrushed and it's perfect for holiday parties and special nights out.
When you order, you get three free eyeshadow samples too!

Oh now I'm going to have to get my order in too. Thanks for the recommendations, they all sound great! I'll definitely have to try the Illusion or Splendor. Which is your favorite?
By the way, I don't have "mineral" make-up brushes since I've never used it before. I do have several other brushes that I can use, but their mostly synthetics. Will this make a huge difference when I try my samples or will I be able to get an idea of whether or not I like MMU without investing in the brushes up front? |

What i enjoy about aromaleigh is that they go by undertones. Whether your tones are pink, yellow, warm, cool, they have something for everybody. I suggest finding which undertone you are and sticking to it possibly. I have pink undertones but found the lightest shade of pink too...pink? I settled for mixing the ivory cool with alabaster. Perfect choice. Order some samples!![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |
