Hello everyone,
Well after going through pages and pages of reviews (what an awesome site!), I think I will be purchasing a Valmont anti-wrinkle treatment cream...The only problem is which one?
I am tossing between:
> Valmont AWF Cyto Complex E - Factor I, or
> Valmont AWF Cyto Complex EJ - Factor II
I am confused as to which I should buy. Has anyone used either, and can suggest which may be best for me?
I am 35 in a month, have combination skin (more on the oily side) and I am *convinced* that my laugh lines, especially around the eye area are now turning into something more serious and would like to tackle the issue earlier rather than later (can never hurt-right?!)
Overall my skin is also slackening around my cheeks and jawline, so ideally something that can firm & tackle wrinkles at the same time.
Note that probably due to my oily skin, I still look like I'm in my late 20s - everyone is always shocked by my age.
Would the Factor II cream be too heavy/work for me? Does anyone have any other products they would recommend?
Any other suggestions, recommendations about other products?
...Something I can use night or day, under makeup, or as a replacement moisturiser.
I also like the reviews of the AlphaDerma CE/JB AH3 facial skin prep wrinkle treatment for use during the day...
Thanks in advance,
Natacha |

I like many of the Valmont products (most notably the Renewing Pack ) and I wish I could help but the two products that you mentioned are new additions to the line. I haven't tried them and I haven't as yet heard of any EDS members trying them either - these were added to the EDS product lineup just a few weeks ago from what I remember. I'm really curious to hear what they're like... |

Natski - Did you find something that worked well for you? I have a similar problem with laugh lines around my mouth. The one on the left is really deep and I've tried about everything to get rid of it. Overall my cheeks have begun to loosen up a bit and since I smile more to my left it's just getting worse, not better! |

Hi there!
I have decided to settle on the AlphaDerma CE anti-wrinkle treatment mainly because I kept reading so many success stories about it...
Every review seems to rave about it with people noticing significant results within a few weeks.
I just ordered my products last week - EssentialDaySpa shop has a handy combo-pack on this brand at the moment which is the one I bought (AlphaDerma Anti-Aging On The Go set).
I contains 4x 1oz sizes of the treatment, skin prep, cleanser & 1/2 oz eye treatment - so I now have all bases covered!
This ended up being a much cheaper deal than comparitive products in other brands.
It also means I can trial the product without commiting huge amounts of money on the larger sizes for each product.
I have also purchased cellcosmet's eye gel & valmont renewing pack.
I will post reviews in a few weeks! |

Thanks for your quick response! I have actually tried a sample pack of the Alpha Derma CE and although it was nice, I didn't see any significant improvement over the 2 weeks I used it. I will be very interested in seeing if it works longer term for you since we are of similar age. My thought was that my skin doesn't respond well to argeline products since I have relatively young skin. Maybe this will be my miracle product when I get a bit older, but for now it didn't really impress me. I know this was very short-term use but I've been reading on these forums that you should know within a week if the product will work for you or not.
I've also been using the DermaExcel with little to no results as well on these stubborn areas. I'm trying to do more on the inside now since I don't feel that any cream/serum is going to fix these lines. I've added Omega 3 supplements and several other vitamins and I'll see if that improves my skin appearance at all. Good luck and please keep me posted on your progress! |

Natski,
Hi,
I enjoyed reading your forum...I read that we have to becareful of not letting our skin sag, gut I'm not too sure how to prevent that. I wear sunblock, Vivier 20, Omega 3 and I think I am doing everything possible right now. I wish there is something out there to prevent sagging of the skin. |
