Hi Red Head,
I don't know how other people use jojoba oil ... but I use just a drop of jojoba oil on a moistened face.
I generally use a spritz of my lavender hydrosol ... but even spritzing with plain water would do.
I take a drop of jojoba oil on my middle finger ... rub it between the two middle fingers briefly ... and then smooth that drop over my moistened face.
I only do this in the AM. I learned via several threads on this board that nightly moisturizing isn't always necessary ... so I don't use any moisturizer in the PM.
I can't recall offhand why it isn't necessary ... or when it might be beneficial to do so. Perhaps someone else knows.
Jojoba oil is supposed to be pretty close to human sebum ... which is why it makes such a "natural" moisturizer. Be careful though ... because jojoba isn't really an "oil" ... it's a "wax" ... so too much could clog your pores I would think.

I use it as a moisturizer. I take one drop in my palm, rub it in my hands to create a little heat, and pat it gently on my face. Usually one drop is enough. |
