lamer lip balm $40.00 was working really great to me last year, but somehow, this year, it was not helping my chapping lips anymore. What's wrong? Any idea? |

Did they reformulate? They do not have to tell you at the counter.
Did you buy it at a store, or off EBay? Old/counterfeit product?
Hope that helps! |

Do you use this lip balm regularly? If so, maybe you've built up a tolerance? I've heard that this can happen with lip balms and it has happened to me. I used to get relief from a cheap old stick of Chap Stick but now, it does nothing for me.
Just a thought. |

I used it every day during winter time. I guess it won't do anything because of a tolerance |

One of the things that helps me is to vary the lip products based on the time of day. During the day, my lip gloss over a lip conditioner seems to suffice. Then, at night, I use either vaseline, blistex, or whatever other lip balm I have handy.
The other thing I've tried to do is to "deprive myself" of moisture on my lips every now and then. I think that regardless of the product, your lips can become dependent on alternative sources of moisture. I do this at night when I'm really tired so that I fall asleep before I get aggravated at how dry my lips feel. The next morning, my lips feel fine. |
