Just received it two days ago. The smell is... interesting, but it looks like it is working. One question, though: Do you spray on the skin or on a cotton pad? |

I love this toner!!
I like to spray directly onto skin and pat in, I try to shield my eyes too. |

Does it live up to it's name of Clarifying? I am looking for a new hydrating mist, but would like one that maybe gives me some benefits instead of it just being a mist. If you spray this on, could I use it as mist? |

They recommend using in on the plane for hydrating the skin. |

I find it drying. IMO I don't think it is hydrating. It has alcohol in it as well, so that would be more drying that hydrating. |

I used the clarifying toner for a while (one bottle's worth) but wasn't happy with the results. I've since switched to the regular toner and much prefer it. (When I bought the clarifying toner, I was under the misconception that my skin was oily, though it turns out that it's more combination. So, most of my original Hauschka purchases were those recommended for oily skin and, not surprisingly, I wasn't too thrilled with them.) |

The Claryifying toner is meant for oily skin, I think on the Dr Hauschka site it is recomended only to be used for a couple of months at a time then when the skin starts to improves it is recomended to switch to the normal toner. |

The clarifying toner does have plant alcohol and witch hazel in it.. and it is very good for drying up spots. I don't use the toner long term as I find it to be a bit drying.
I find it is better to use it as a treatment toner for trouble skin rather than a staple product. |
