Alright, I have sensitive acne-prone skin that has finally cleared up (fingers crossed) about 95% due to gentle, hydrating products and cleansing my face with a facial brush 2X a day.
Every time I have used BHA or BP or Retin-A, my face is anhilated so that is why I am a little scared of the Pro-Heal. I know some of you have had great success with this for controlling acne and getting rid of the post inflammatory hyperpigmentation that follows so that is why I am interested. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

It does not contain enough retinol to be irritating, plus it has olive leaf extract. I cannot use retin-a or renova but have no problem with this. |

I did peel when I first started using it, and had to use it every 3 days, then every other day, then everyday. It is my HG C serum though. |

Try and get a sample first. If you have super sensitive skin, the 15% vit C and 1% retinol may irritate you. When you start off, try using it only everyother day, then work up to everyday.
It really is an awesome products, give it a go!

Yup. I got a little sample of this with a dropper cap. It really helps with the redness of my face. And it lasts a long time! I'm still using the sample and it's been at the very least two weeks of consistent use. I put a thin layer of three drops on. |

Wow, this sounds so good... I have used a mild retinol product in the past that wasn't too harsh so this would probably be OK. Thank you for all of your replies ladies! |

Madeline,
I have had great success in using Dermalogica products. I use the Essential Cleansing Solution on dry skin to take makeup off at night... rinse that off, then I use the Special Cleansing Gel with the Dermalogica face brush to deep cleanse and exfoliate. I follow that by the Multi Active Toner with a cotton pad all over my face. At night I use the Intensive Moisture Balance to moisturize and in the day I use Sheer Moisture SPF 15. That is really all I do and it has really helped clear my face. The face brush from Dermalogica is just a little round brush with soft bristles that I sweep over my face in circular motions for about 30 seconds morning and night. Nothing, including scrubs or acids or peels has ever made my skin feel so clean and soft. I love it. HTH! |
