I may have missed this discussion here so forgive me if I did. The ISC Moisture Complex and Eye Complex now have a very different feel. I ordered my first batch about 3 months ago. The Complexes had a thick, almost tacky feel to them, although they absorbed well.
I just got my new order and both Complexes are now light as air! There's a big, noticable difference.
Has anyone else noticed this change? I've only used it twice so far and I'm not sure that I like it as much.

Wow...I'm very interested to find out as well. I loved the sample I received of the moisture complex, even though at first I was horrified that it was so darn thick and sticky. However, it absorbed so beautifully. I can't imagine why they would change it without posting something about it, but who knows. |

You know I was wondering the same thing. My experience was the opposite. The sample I got was very like and absorbed really well. When I bought the fullsized version, it was much thicker and stickier. I haven't noticed a difference in performance. Both the sample and the fullsized were purchased at the same store and it is an official IS Clinical retailer.

I sent an email to their headquarters and hopefully they will get back to me. I also asked SkinTerra (where I purchased) and they said they knew nothing about a change but would forward my concern to the company.
I'd rather hear that they changed the formula than their quality control isn't very good. That concerns me.

Liz - do you mind sharing where you purchased your IS Clinical? I'm in the Dallas area also and would like to find a local source. I've been ordering it from Skinterra, but would like to be able to get some samples locally. |

I bought it online through skinterra. You can find local sellers by entering your zip on the IS clinical website...I did it for you and these are the two places in Dallas. I am not sure where in Dallas you live, but you may want to try looking in plano or frisco, as well.

I'm from Dallas as well and have only purchased online too. Ebay is also a great place to get expensive skincare items for much less if you can find a good seller. It's nice to have so many people on this forum from the DFW area...and Texas for that matter! |

This is the answer from Is Clinical; I'm happy to know the formula has not been changed and they do not use preservatives....
Hi Marina – Each batch of MC and EC can sometimes feel a little different, usually because of the raw materials at the time and of course the time of year the batch is made. Dr. Omar always uses the same formula, but sometimes it can vary slightly from batch to batch. We don’t use dyes, fillers, or preservatives, which many skin care lines rely on to maintain consistency. (We’ve had many compliments about the last batches of MC and EC.). So in short, it is the same formula and Dr. Omar always tests for stability and effectiveness, but the batches can vary slightly each time, though Dr. Omar always tries to minimize that naturally, if possible. I hope that helps, and if there is anything else I can do, please let me know.

Marina, I guess you felt the need to ask also.
I received the same reply except they added that they have received many positive comments on the latest batch (consistency) of the Moisture and Eye Complexes.

Alexis,
I din't read the post (till now) where you also asked them - they must think we're ganging up on them But really, I like them lighter and I really didn't know they didn't use preservatives. I like that. |

Marina, Well, I wrote to SkinTerra asking them the same questions before I wrote to ISC. And THEY got the same reply as us!
That's three in one day. I'm sure ISC is wondering "what the...".
I like that my makeup goes on much more easily with this lighter version. As long as it performs the same, I'm good.

PS - Forgot to add, they said that I was the first to not like this formulation. So I guess everybody either doesn't notice or likes it better. I wonder who got the original message. |
