I am switching from the skin smoothing cream to the IMB for the colder winter months. When I first applied the IMB it made my skin feel tingly and slightly red ....I looked at the ingredients and I think it must be Vit.C (probably a very low concentration however). After a week I am now used to the cream and have no reaction It doesn't really seem any thicker than the SSC but somewhat greasier, which is ok for my normal-dry skin and once I put on powder any shine or excess seems to be moped up. Keeps any powder from sinking into my very fine lines
Definetly a keeper for winter but wouldn't recommend for anyone with oily skin and I will switch back to the SSC for summer |

I would agree with you that it is not altogether moisturizing....kind of a strange texture that I guess either works for your skin or doesn't I don't really feel like it is a thick cream that is quenching my skin or that it is really treating my skin. Maybe I should keep looking as well cause I really wanted a rich, pampering cream for night-time use |

cbrooke - Philosophy's When Hope Is Not Enough is very rich and might be a good night cream for you. Works very well on my very dry skin. |

I just applied the Dermalogica Intensive Moisture and after wash, my face is sort of reddish and dry. I am not even sure if it's dry of oil free or just plain dry up my face. I usually apply Clarin Hydrating Masque and my skin doesn't feel that dry. I guess I don't really crazy with mask with clay type. Clarin is more liquid type. Just a thought! |

The texture of the Intensive MB is lighter than that of the SSC, IMO. I also feel the SSC to be more hydrating, for some reason. |
