I am looking for a non-drying toner. Wondering if Dr. H line in toners are any good? Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks. |

I read that unless you have super oily skin, you should never use a toner that contains alcohol in it, as alcohol is extremely drying. My skin is normal to dry and I've been using the homemade ACV toner and don't find it drying at all. |

Toners can dry out my skin sometimes, but I haven't had problems with the Dr. H toners. Right now I'm using the Firming Facial Toner from PSF skincare. I can't speak to its firming properties yet (only used it a few days), but it's very gentle, soothing, and non-drying. |

I have sensitive combo skin and use the DR H Clarifying Toner. Love it. But just made Carekate's ACV toner and am alternating with it at night. Loving that too. |

I have tried both the normal and clarifying Dr H toners and whist I love the scent I have to admit that I can't justify paying those prices for a toner.
The ACV is a really good toner also Witch Hazel for oily skin and Rose Water makes a wonderful toner for normal or dry skin, I mix the 2 together. It costs me abouth £1 for a bottle of witch hazel and £1 for the Rose Water and is just as good as the Dr H. |

yes, i dont want a toner with any alcohol in it. Alcohol is very drying and causes my skin to crack. I have used the clinique toners and absolutely hate it cuz they are so drying. |

BC Girl-
What type of skin do you have? I liked Dr. H's clarifying toner but one that a lot of other people like is the Phytomer Face Dew or Rose Visage. It's very soothing, no alcohol and smells great too. Please see my signature for my skin type and compare to yours.

I love the Dr. H toners, very refreshing and gentle. I alternate between them and homemade ACV toner -- you can be sure to have all the ingredients you need when you make it yourself. |

How about Decleor's tonifying lotion. I don't use toner, think it is an extra un-neccesary step, but this one (I have a sample ) I use to freshen up my face...you know sometimes it just feels like you need to wash your face but you don't want to do the whole routine It smells really nice and isn't drying. |

I've found the Decleor toner to be great, but even better is the Liz Earle one. My skin's very dry indeed and neither of those two make it feel tight, just nice and comfortable. |

I never used toners till EDS sent a sample of DR H Clarifying with my CC order. Hooked and finds it really does give me that extra edge. Although after trying the ACV just at night, it seems to do the trick too. |

At a higher price, yet still cheap (11oz), you can get all those ingredients in an alocohol-free product plus more here:

The DR H clarifying toner has been on my list for ages after I tried the normal one. Finally going to get myself a bottle later this month *grin* |

My skin is very dry this winter, however i do have some blemishes. So i am looking for a toner that is non-drying, no alchohol, and doesnt clog pores.
I guess i should try this Dr.H toner. |

I am currently using the Nivea Visage alcohol free toner that SuperCelebs suggested, while alternating with the homemade ACV toner, and I'm very pleased. IMO I like the Nivea better then the Phytomer Rose Visage. The Phytomer seemed to leave a film on my face that I didn't care for, while the Nivea doesn't. |
