What would you do?
I am wanting to try something new from Sephora... and am torn between two choices
1. Ole Henrikson "little wonders" trio $65
Set includes a 1 oz Truth Serum, 1 oz Invigorating Night Gel, and a 1 oz Sheer Transformation.
2. Cellex-C Anti-aging kit: $90
The Anti-Aging Kit brings together three key Cellex-C products to create a powerful sun defense: High-Potency Serum 15ml, Hydra 5 B-Complex 15ml, Sun Care SPF 30+ 30ml
Hmm... if it was your choice, which would you buy and why?! (and has anyone tried any of these with what results?) |

I'd go with the Cellex-C for two reasons:
a) previous experience
b) proper amber bottle packaging vs. clear packaging of the OH serum (unless they've changed something). |

I really, wanted to kill Ole H brand ...I splurged some big sum on Ole, it was quite a gamble but i thought i might love it due to all the fancy ingredients that sounded really promising. I bought the 3 wonders (vit C serum, invigorating night gel and sheer transformation creme). I have no idea whether any of them did ANYTHING, they did have pore clogging tendencies though.
It costed me about 200AUD for those products when i bought them in sydney, still kicking myself |

OH I was thinking of trying due to the 20% off code at Sephora..
Mabsy, what is your opinion on Cellex-C? I seem to remember other brands being better than that one.
The Sephora kit includes 10% serum, the b5 hydrating stuff and the sunscreen US$90 (so $72 after discount)
Thanks! |

I still think that the Cellex-C turns color much quicker than say Vivier and JB for example. And I never really liked it in the past. I just finished using the 17.5% Cellex-C serum and found that even when it was yellow (I started using it past its use by date actually) I still saw results. I was also rather happy because I think it played a part in keeping my skin clear as well. I don't like the texture of it (too runny, drying) but it turns out that my skin actually got used to the drying feeling and it adapted. So overall it was good. |
