Hi everyone
I'm very interested in trying Jane Iredale's pressed mineral powder base and liquid minerals but not sure which shade is the right shade for me. I'm a Bare Essentual 2 (Light). Help!! Anyone??

| I wear a mix of #1 and #1.2 in BE and I've got pressed base in Warm Silk (though I sometimes feel it's a bit too dark for me...). I had a pot of #2 but it was too dark for me. Relative to this, I'm guessing you might do well with Amber - but please wait and see if there is someone here that uses it and knows their BE shade (or vice versa). |

BE #2 is a light in the pink family, right? If so, I think your shade in JI pressed powder would be “Light Beige” or maybe “Satin.” If the BE #2 is on the warmer (yellow) side, then your shade would be either “Warm Silk” or “Amber.”
I think your best bet would be either find an authorized JI retailer near you so you can go in and test out the shades yourself to find your perfect match. If that’s not possible, then I highly suggest you order some samples of the JI pressed or loose foundation so you can play around with the shades in the privacy of your own home.
