Perhaps you should look into the powder mineral foundations?

Bare Minerals, for example, is a good one. It feels like you're not wearing foundation at all and you can apply the powder with a concealing brush to any areas that need more coverage. These types of foundations are often recommended to rosacea sufferers because they cover redness well and do not further irritate the skin. By that logic it should also be effective on red scars.

The Jane Iredale Cover Care Concealer covers EVERYTHING, and it lasts all-day! Use it under your mineral-based make-up or over a liquid! http://essentialdayspa.com/jane_iredale_concealer_camouflage.htm

All of the mineral make-up lines that we sell (Jane Iredale & Glominerals included) are from the U.S. Bare Escentuals is made in San Francisco, and though they have a free-standing store there, I believe that the product is NOT sold in department stores, etc. You may order through us, however, and receive a great exchange rate on the UK pound!Wink

You can get rid of redness by applying lavender oil "neat" to the skin. No more red tones for me! Just stay away from the eyes!
