hi! has anyone heard of Benzoyl Peroxide? is it just used for acne, or does it whiten skin too? if anyone knows please let me know.  |

Hi, I don't know if Benzoyl Peroxide if used to whiten skin, but it is used to treat acne, and in many people successfully. When I was a teen, I used a product containing this and discovered that I am allergic to it. My face looked like this  -- red, irritated and it swelled. I also know that it can be quite drying. |
