Hello everyone. I am new here. Just started my MD Formulations kit for problem prone skin. I somehow love how my skin feels after using the products but sad to say that my bumps on the chin area just stays there and appears slightly more active than before. I thought the use of glycolic acid based products would help the bumps as well as the post acne scars but does not seem to lighten them. Maybe I am just hoping for a miracle. I know it takes time and I should be patient. Just want to get advice from you guys. Are the products not working on me or maybe I should give it a little more time? |

Hi Lizsimone,
Welcome to the forum!
You haven't really stated how long you have been using it for. Are we talking days, weeks, months? The reason I ask is that sometimes your skin gets worse before it gets better as all the impurities from under the skin get drawn out to the surface. |

Sorry Mabsy, n thanx for the reply. Have been on it for 2 weeks now. Previously, I was on serious skin glycolic cleanser. I only had a sample so I finished it in a month. I would say I was on glycolic acid based cleanser for over a month now. I see more bumps on my chin now and I use vita-A-plus clearing complex but it does not seem to improve except on the tiny pimples that I have. I hope you could advice me further. Thanks. |

Well I'm no expert but I would say that two weeks may not be enough to see if the products are not working for you. If it were me I would continue using the set for another few weeks and make up my mind then. That is unless my skin was getting itchy or otherwise unhappy. Another thing you could try is to use the Clearing Complex on just a part of your face and see if the other part starts improving?
I'm also a believer in increasing water intake when you use clearing products because based on my logic ( ) the water should speed the process up. I could be wrong but either way drinking more water is not going to hurt
However I would suggest that if you have concerns about the suitability of the product then you should contact the Spa directly. |
