Okay I wasn't sure where this thread should be but I'm posting it here because it has everything to do with my skincare! Bad Grin

Please will you help me name my oil? I'm being OTT, I know, but it's just that I'm SO into my cleansing oil! I keep it in a cute pump bottle I bought at a pharmacy, my sister keeps hers in a small old green glass bottle. I want to print out a label on a piece of brown paper and glue it on these cute bottles, but I don't know what to call it!

'Cleansing Oil' is so common, and anyways I don't just use it for cleansing; I sometimes use it to moisturise, too. 'Multipurpose Oil' doesn't sound inviting. 'Face Oil' suggests the sebum drawn from somebody's face!

Oh what do I type? Think

Thanks for indulging my passion for trivia! Very Happy

P/s another reason I'm giving it a name is that I've had five people buying the oil from me - even though I've told them how to make it! They've all said they couldn't be bothered with looking for the ingredients and that it's easier to have me make it for them. Cool So if this little business takes off...I'm going to need a name, don't I?

Forgot to say that it doesn't have to be English - just be sure to translate it for me, thank you!

How about Beautifying Oil or Skin Perfecting Oil. I couldn't think of any. I want to see a pic of the pump you have. Could you PM me? I won't be on for about 11 days but will check when I get back. Take care.

Skin Perfecting Oil sounds good! I'll KIV that, thanks. Will have to get back to you on the photo, need to borrow my brother's digital camera first!

This friend of mine also said French people don't put oil on their face, they put creme! I said yes they do! What does a man know? Rolling Eyes

He went on to suggest 2 more: Soin du visage parfaitment, or pour perfectioner le soin du visage. hmm

I just throw in whatever I fancy, based on what people have recommended here. My recipe changes each time I make a new batch (talk about lack of QC! Bad Grin ) but of late I've liked the 1:4 combo of CO and EVOO, then a tiny amount of wheatgerm oil for vitamin E, and ylang-ylang, lavender and geranium EOs.

Tiger_tim,
CO stands for Castor Oil and EVOO is Extra Virgin Olive Oil
