Just wondering if anybody could help me out with a question regarding childrens sizes in the U.S.
I've spotted a few 'Dora The Explorer' hat and glove sets on Ebay and I'd like to get one for my niece for Christmas. She's 2 years old and has yet to develop decent taste in TV programmes.
Anyway, the hats I've spotted so far seem to come in 2 sizes - 'Toddlers' or 'Girls'.
I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me a rough idea of what age group would fit into 'Toddlers' and what age would be wearing 'Girls'.
Many thanks! |

Happy Holidays Toe!
I call one of my greyhounds "Dora the Explorer" because she's incredibly precocious and has to have her pointy nose in everything.
Anyway, I checked out The Gap and LL Bean, both big US stores.
The Gap
Infant: 0-2yrs
Toddler: 2-5 years
Girls: 5 years +
LL Bean:
Infant: 0-18 months
Toddler: 18 months-4 years
Girls: 4 years +
I would say she's safely a "toddler." You could also ask the seller to verify. |

Thanks for that, LandB.
Sounds like it's the perfect name for your greyhound.
I just have to find something for my 4 year old nephew now. Unfortunately, he's a 'Dora' fan too. I imagine if I get his little sister some 'Dora' goodies and not him it will all end in tears on Christmas morning. |

Oh, Toe, there's no doubt that my Lady would be a juvenile delinquent if human. I'm thinking a detention facility by the age of 10.....
I do think your nephew will need a Dora fix, as well. I'm sure you'll get your hands on something. I can always do an emergency run in the States for you, if necessary. |

Thanks for the kind offer of doing a dash for Dora stuff for me. Really sweet of you.
Thankfully I found that there is a Nick Jr. store online in the UK and so I have ordered some stuff from there. |
