Any one tried both Decleor's Angelique balm and Iris balm? I don't really have dry or mature skin but I am a smoker. I got a sample of the Angelique balm and I do love it. The smell and how it seem to absorb better on my skin. It is perfect for my winter skin. I put the essential balm on my t-zone then put the Angelique balm on the rest of my face. I must say...I love the Angelique balm more than the essential balm. Even though I do like the essentail balm a lot.
There some good review on the Iris Balm on MUA and I remember Mabsy saying she would like to try the Iris Balm also. Please help me make a choice.
Thanks first, |

without having tried either - but if you love the angelique more than the essential it must be too dreamy to be almost true! and the question is - is it even possible that the iris could beat both the angelique and the essential???? I'd try and get my hands on a sample of the iris before I made up my mind...
Good luck! |

I have only tried the Iris Balm and I really love it. This time of year I find my skin dries out so much I wake up in the morning itchy!
I have used the balm for a couple of weeks now and really like the feel of my skin. Not sure if I am seeing improvement in the fine lines and wrinkles department, but the texture of my skin has been really nice. Plus -- it smells fabulous! |

I was unable to get a sample of the Iris Balm but I got a sample of the Iris Aromaessence. The SA told me that I shouldn't be mixing different lines of balm and aromaessence. I don't believe its totally true. I have had success using different combinations of their product. For example, I always pick and choose between Neroli or Ylang Ylang Oil and match with Essential or Angelique balm. Well, now I definately need to try the Iris aromaessence and see how it works.

Tonight is the second night I use the Iris aromaessence instead of the Neroli one. I loved the Neroli one but I think the Iris one is better for my skin in this cold winter. It is thicker than the neroli oil and IMO doesn't smell as nice as the neroli oil. But, my skin is definately loving it now and it is slightly pumped.
I used the Iris oil with both essential and angelique balm...nothing weird happened, just glowing skin. |
