Hey,
I just saw Dr Renaud has a C serum for $42. I can't find any info on the ingredients, anyone know what they are?
I just ran out of my skinceuticals serum 10 and am hoping to find a less expensive alternative...
anybody tried this?? |

The cellularskinrx one that is pretty popular here is just $38. It's $2 shipping to Canada as well. |

Someone here said they send it as a "gift" so you don't pay duties? Could that be true? |

Lianne,
The company not only has to declare it as a "gift", but also should not include any receipts in the parcel as well. If the company puts their name on the parcel as well, customs will still charge you because they know it was a commercial transaction.
Even if customs accept it as "gift", the exemption is only CAD60. You would still have to pay taxes beyond that.
Hope the above helps. |

thanks bad bird. I didn't know the exact dollar amount. I'll email tomorrow and see if they do that or not.
That explains why the one store always sends it from one of their employees and never includes an invoice. |

Hi Lianne,
Are they going to send it as gift without receipt? I want to order but concern about customs charges as well.
Thanks. |

yes, she told me that they do. She said they gift wrap it and everything, but on occassion customs will open the package and charge for it (about 2/100). |

Whenever I ordered from CSRx (about three or four times now I think) it's always been giftwrapped |

I see this thread is a little old, but I don't know if anyone answered your question about the ingredients.
The active ingredients are Vitamin C (optimized form), Vegetal Extracts Complex, B-glucans, Vitamin E.
I got this information from http://www.drrenaud.com |
