I came accross Neal's Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm:

The ingredients are: rosehip oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, shea nut butter, hemp seed oil, borage oil, geranium oil, olibanium oil, rosemary oil, ascorbyl palmitate, palmarosa oil, patchouli oil, tocopherol.
I just wondered if this could be an alternative to the Decleor Arromesence essential baumes? |

Rosebud you must have read my mind! Only I was wondering if the Burt's Bees Repair Serum could be used in place of Decleor. The ingredients for it are similar to Neal's Yard Balm as well.
Burt's Bees Attar of Rose Repair Serum:
Rosehip Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Lavender Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E), Evening Primrose Oil, Borage Seed Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Hazelnut Oil, Neroli Oil, Rose Oil, Calendula Extract, Green Tea Extract, Beta Carotene, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate (vitamin C), Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A) |

| Rosebud, I have a jar and it's very balm like. It's even ok for oilier skins as a cleanser. I've not used it as a night balm but I imagine it would work very well. |

The Repair Serum is great. I use it mostly around my eyes and sometimes on my neck and breasts if I'm feeling crispy and withered :P
My only qualm is that it has a VERY strong herbal rose scent. I somehow don't mind the Decleors, but, the Burt's Bees makes me feel fairly queasy quite often  |

Agave - I don't actually mind the initial smell of the BB's, but when ever I add something on top of it, like another moisturizer or particularly sunscreen, it smells AWFUL! The first time it happened all day I kept thinking, what is that awful smell? It kinda has a fishy smell to it...NOT good. Finally I asked my boyfriend to smell my face and he was like WHOA that's where the smell is coming from. 
So now I just use it before I got to bed as I feel my skin needs a bit of extra attention and haven't had any further "smell" issues. |

OMG rosebud, did you HAVE to show us that? I have "avoided" Neal's Yard for ages because their stuff is all so yummy (OK except for the clothing-staining massage oil that still makes me scowl  ) .... I might pop by the stockist here in Tokyo and check out the texture. In the past I have recreated their products just by jotting down the ingredients and having a look at the texture/consistency of the actual product! It must be at least 5,000 yen here.. a bit above my budget at present!
** EDIT ** OH MY LORD!! It is 8,000 yen in Japan!!!!!!!!!!
