While answering another topic, I realized I would love to share my answer for very oily/break out skin. I have used many, many products, both expensive and inexpensive, even Clinque's were too drying (!) for my super oily skin (especially in summer of course). NV Perricone's, and many brands from Sephoria, and forget it.
Then, found "AcneFree"; a sort-of "ProActiv" copy, but AcneFree is from a 'university' and has longer acting ingredients than ProActiv.
I found it at Walmart for ...ta ta da da....$15! for a 'set' of three products; cleanser, toner and lotion. My skin cleared up so dramatically, just like the ProActiv commericals!!!!! Now I don't need it daily anymore, just monthly or during breakouts. The toner does have alcohol listed and Witch Hazel, but also Chamomilla.
My daughter's college friends turned me on to this cheap, and WORKS, product!!! Good luck!!!
I found (Walmart) in the skin lotion section; its becoming very popular now (those darn college girls! ) but haven't seen it anywhere else.
Their phone # off the bottle is: 800-535-0000 (m) from Irvine, CA.
Would love to hear if anyone has tried this and your opinion. Or anyone try ProActiv and this one to compare!
Toner: "Water, SD Alcohol 40-B, Glycerin, Witch Hazel, Distillate, Panthenol, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Guaiazulene, Latic Acid, Disodium EDTA-Copper, Benzethonium Chloride." |

I've seen that kit at Wal-Mart too. I recently started using Murad's Acne kit. I'll add that AcneFree kit to my list of products to try if Murad fails me. |

I just got the AcneFree Severe kit, which utilizes four products: a cleanser, toner, repair lotion, and retinol renewal complex. The repair lotion has 10% benzoyl peroxide. Surprisingly, none of the products burned or tingled my skin, although the toner did did sting minimally on one particular cyst pimple. Just overnight I can already see a difference, and my skin doesn't feel dry. I'm not even using a moisturizer. I would recommend a lot of lip balm, though, because BP seems to dry out my poor smacker quite a bit. Hope this helps! |

I too tried Acne Free and for me, it was anything but that. It did not really cause many more than normal, but it did not help anything. I was wasting my money. It was a lot like Pro Active which did NODDA for me. |
