Here in head lice city, we use conditioner and wet comb every other day for 2 weeks till any eggs have hatched out. I also use a conditioning spray spiked with citronells, lavender and tea tree which helps to act as a repellant.
I can see how slathering cetaphil and blow drying may kill the actual lice in the experiment (if they hadn't already been wet combed out!), but I don't see how it kills the eggs, which are resistant to even pretty potent pesticides!
